Xuelah Zoom Integration

Xuelah (operated by VAIM SDN BHD) lets you create and manage Zoom meetings from within Xuelah. Each organization connects one Zoom account, and all Zoom meetings created for that organization use that connected account.

Adding Xuelah to Zoom

Only an organization owner can connect Zoom.

  1. In Xuelah, go to Meetings and choose Create Meeting.
  2. Select the Zoom platform.
  3. Click Connect. (You can also connect from Account Settings, Video Meeting tab.)
  4. Sign in to Zoom and approve the permissions requested by Xuelah.
  5. You are redirected back to Xuelah and Zoom is shown as Connected, together with the connected Zoom email.

Using the Integration

  1. In Xuelah, go to Meetings and choose Create Meeting.
  2. Enter the meeting title and the date and time, and select the Zoom platform.
  3. Click Generate. Xuelah creates the Zoom meeting through the connected Zoom account and stores the join link with the Xuelah session.
  4. If you later update the meeting in Xuelah, the Zoom meeting is updated. If you delete the meeting in Xuelah, the Zoom meeting is deleted.

Removing the Integration

  1. An organization owner clicks Disconnect on the Zoom connection in Xuelah (Account Settings, Video Meeting tab). This deletes the Zoom connection stored by Xuelah, including its access and refresh tokens.
  2. Also remove the app in Zoom: go to the Zoom App Marketplace, then Manage, Added Apps, select Xuelah and click Remove. Xuelah does not currently revoke the authorization at Zoom for you, so this step is needed to fully remove the app from your Zoom account.

Permissions Requested

  • meeting:write:meeting - create Zoom meetings when you generate a link in Xuelah.
  • meeting:update:meeting - update a Zoom meeting when you change its details in Xuelah.
  • meeting:delete:meeting - delete a Zoom meeting when you delete it in Xuelah.
  • user:read:user - read your Zoom user ID and email to identify the linked Zoom account.
